Wordsmith: A Def Poetry Reunion Honoring Ursula Rucker
DFX partnered with Grounds For Sculpture to deliver rental and production services for Wordsmith: A Def Poetry Reunion Honoring Ursula Rucker, a celebration of poetry, music, and community inspired by Roberto Lugo’s monumental sculpture Put Yourself in the Picture. Originally planned as an outdoor experience, the event was successfully transitioned indoors, featuring performances by acclaimed Def Poetry alumni, musicians, and artists. Our team provided the technical production support needed to ensure a seamless experience for attendees, helping bring together powerful storytelling, live entertainment, and visual arts in a dynamic cultural event.
