Lumos

DFX provided a comprehensive design, integration, and installation of advanced lighting, audio, video, and control systems throughout the Lumos venue—creating a fully immersive, technology-driven entertainment experience from the ground up.

The project included architectural and specialty lighting across the facility, from dynamic illumination in guest areas to high-impact laser tag lighting that reacts to gameplay. For the bowling attraction, DFX installed VersaLamps over each lane and a Versa LED Masking system, delivering vibrant, energy-efficient effects. Additional feature lighting was designed for the main lobby’s LUMOS letters, creating a bold, welcoming centerpiece, while outdoor LED signage walls and video displays help the venue make a statement before guests even step inside.

To complement the visual experience, DFX provided a comprehensive audio system for the venue, ensuring consistent sound quality for music, announcements, and attractions. High-definition TVs and display screens were installed throughout the space, enhancing guest engagement and entertainment. All systems are seamlessly managed through a Crestron control system, giving the Lumos team centralized control over lighting, video, audio, and signage.

Behind the scenes, DFX engineered and installed a secure enterprise network supporting staff operations, AV systems, and attraction control—complete with structured cabling and wireless infrastructure for smooth, reliable connectivity. The installation also included CCTV surveillance for safety and custom control integration for three outdoor LED Lumos signs, enabling quick and easy content management.
