Palace Social
Now, Palace Social is a newly revitalized experience! Bowling lanes are just the beginning. With virtual reality, arcade games, an eSports lounge, and multiple places to mix and mingle, Palace is set to help new generations of patrons create unforgettable experiences.
We provided VersaLamps for their bowling lanes but the majority of our efforts were concentrated in audio and video services. Our team installed and ran wiring to manage over fifty speakers throughout the facility and over twenty flat panel displays. Nearly every room in the building received some sort of audiovisual component! Everything was expertly integrated so staff could easily manage their audiovisual system through touchscreen controls.
Area 254
In the heart of Killeen, Texas, the unveiling of Area 254 marks a new era in entertainment, and DFX is proud to be the driving force behind the exceptional installation that promises to redefine the entertainment landscape.
At the core of DFX’s contribution is the VersaLED Masking unit, meticulously applied across 10 bowling lanes. This state-of-the-art technology transforms the bowling experience into a mesmerizing visual spectacle, setting the stage for an unforgettable time at Area 254.
Beyond the bowling lanes, DFX has curated a vibrant party room featuring karaoke and top-notch audio support for a lively atmosphere. Their installation also includes a Crestron video sound bar, seamlessly integrating technology for modern live conferencing needs.
To elevate the ambiance, DFX has introduced 40-inch mirror balls and strategically placed LED TVs. These elements not only enhance the visual aesthetics but contribute to the overall immersive feel of the entertainment center. With Crestron control, DFX has ensured seamless management of all AV components, optimizing the experience for both staff and guests.
DFX’s collaborative efforts have resulted in an extraordinary entertainment hub at Area 254, promising a unique experience for visitors. Kokomo Joes
At Kokomo Joes we installed our VersaLED LED Masking system and our VersaLamp LED Pin Deck Lighting System for Kokomo Joes entire 12 lane center. Paradise Lanes
Work here included the installation of our VersaLED Masking Unit System for this 34 lane center. The VersaLED video masking system is 6.56′ high x 168′ wide and gives the owner the ability to process up to 12 video windows or one large graphic image on the entire screen. It also comes equipped with 20 digital image stills, video graphic images and a signage player so that they can upload custom content to the screen as well food/drink specials. Project Overview: Lagoon Games, Lanes, and Eats
Lagoon is a new entertainment and dining destination located within the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort. It features a mix of arcade gaming, quick-service dining, and—at its heart—five lanes of duckpin bowling powered by the latest audiovisual technology from DFX.
The project scope included:
VersaLED Video Masking System (4-lane wide, 2m high)
Integrated QAMF duckpin scoring interface
Full content management with screen layout presets
Audio system with zone control for bowling and arcade areas
Apple iPad-based system control for easy staff use
Rack-mounted backend for processing and remote support
Lagoon’s duckpin installation is a real-world example of how smart AV upgrades can enhance guest satisfaction, generate buzz, and support long-term growth for entertainment venues.

Work here included upgrading their 4 zone sound system, installing our VersaLamp LED lighting system with white and full color mixing above the lanes of the VIP area and installing our very own VersaLED video masking system for the 7 VIP lanes. Stowe Bowl
DFX provided on-site systems integration of a state-of-the -art automated audio, video, intelligent effects lighting and architectural lighting systems into this bowling center. Some of the equipment used included Crestron, JBL, Martin, BenQ, Shure and Crown. The automated system is used to control the entire system through an intuitive touch panel.
